Welcome to WheelchairAccess.ca

I've written this site for people who are interested in finding out information on accessibility issues, products and accessible design. Although much of this information is aimed at wheelchair users, much of the information can be helpful for those who have more moderate types of mobility limitations.

The information at WheelchairAccess.ca is pretty generic and I've tried to stay away from discussing specific makes or models of equipment as much as possible.

I do not sell any products on this site nor do I charge any type of fee for access to the information I have published. You will see ads throughout the site for products and companies who do sell these products and a few of them may related to this site.

Being a new site with all new content, there may be minor errors or omissions and we encourage any visitors who notice any problems to contact us to point out anything found to need correction. I am also open to suggestions from my visitors on how I can improve the site.
